Latayne here: I have said all my Christian life that when I grow up, I want to write like Philip Yancey. Is he impressive in person? No, he's humble and introverted. I'm surprised he ever even agreed to do interviews. But he's the best of the best, in my opinion, of thoughtful, compelling writers of non-fiction.

Latayne, I'm so glad you chose Phillip Yancey's interview to post. I love his writing, but I haven't read this book yet. Now I certainly intend to.
Thank you, Sharon. He's just the best. And he has a new book, called The Question That Never Goes Away. I'm beginning it. Love it.
Sounds very interesting. That's 2 I need to get.
Thanks for posting this. I enjoy Yancey's books (my favorite is Soul Survivor) and heard him speak once in Seattle. This book sounds interesting.... another addition to the wish list!
